Refund Policy

1. Overview

At The Digital Nomad™, we stand behind the quality of our work. As a service-based business dealing in digital deliverables, refunds are subject to the following conditions.

2. Advance Payment

Most projects require a 50% advance payment before work begins. This advance is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it compensates for time and resources allocated to your project.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel before work has commenced (within 48 hours of payment and before any deliverables are produced), a full refund of the advance will be issued within 7 business days.

4. Cancellation After Work Begins

  • If you cancel after work has commenced but before first delivery, you will be charged for the percentage of work completed.
  • If you cancel after receiving the first draft, the advance payment is non-refundable.
  • Any balance payment due for completed portions must still be paid.

5. Grounds for Refund

A refund (partial or full) may be considered if: we fail to deliver agreed work within the agreed timeline; deliverables materially deviate from the agreed written brief and cannot be corrected through revisions; or we are unable to complete the project due to circumstances on our end.

6. Refund Process

Email shayak@thedigitalnomad.co.in with your project details and reason. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10–14 business days to your original payment method.

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and other applicable Indian laws. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
